One of the things that I like best about being a portrait photographer is meeting new people and seeing new places.  I recently had the great pleasure of working with Beth.  She and I were waiting for the snow to fall this winter so we could have a “Snowy Syracuse” photo shoot.  We got our chance a few weeks ago.  Here are the resulting portraits.

This was my first time working at Highland Forest in Fabius, New York, one of Central New York’s outdoor gems.  I hadn’t been since my wife and I brought our daughters there years ago for an afternoon of sledding, a horse-drawn sleigh ride, and hot chocolate.  Beth and I skipped the sledding and sleigh ride, but the hot chocolate hit the spot as we took a peek at the day’s photos in their comfortable lounge.

Highland Forest is a great place for all kinds of pictures: family, couples, senior and graduation, and model portfolio.  There’s a great variety of spots for really beautiful portraits.  I definitely will shoot there again.

Thanks Beth for a great shoot.
